About the studio
Adam Chew founded the studio in Penang in 2012. A former Nikon Ambassador — and an invited speaker for Nikon Malaysia — he’s the studio’s principal cinematographer and the one who trained Rider behind the lens. He leads cinematic, corporate and industrial work: hospitality films for Shangri-La, Lexis Suites and Bertam Resort; company profiles for Plexus, SKF, Lokeman and Pacific West; mall and retail content for CapitaLand and First Avenue; and drone documentation for major infrastructure including the RM500M TNB Monopole Towers along the Penang Bridge corridor (flown by the studio’s CAAM-certified team). Cooking and photography have always been personal passions, which is why food and menu photography for F&B remains a studio staple.
Rider Chew, trained behind the lens by Adam and now based in Selangor, leads social, KOL and FPV cinematic drone work. CAAM-certified drone pilot, official DJI Malaysia partner on the Pocket 4 launch (and an invited DJI Malaysia speaker), recent campaign work with Lancôme, and a single performance reel that crossed 211K likes. Operates as Yuy Production on social, also founder of RR Camera Rental. Different aesthetic from Adam’s lane — vertical-first, dynamic, vibrant — same craft standard.
